In just four years as CEO of the Soledad Community Health Care District, Ida Lopez Chan, has achieved remarkable success. Her leadership has resulted in a $22 million revenue increase, enabling the district to expand services with a new Women's Health Center and plans for a mobile health clinic to serve rural areas. Ms. Lopez Chan has inspired her team, boosting productivity and morale. Her dedication to growth is evident through her recent Certified Special District Manager certification and pursuit of a doctoral degree.
Under her guidance, the district has broadened its reach to serve a wider community. Her Food RX Program, addressing food insecurity, has positively impacted hundreds of families by providing bi-weekly healthy food boxes and raising awareness about community resources and better nutrition. So far over 126 families and 660 individuals have benefited.
Ms. Lopez Chan’s dedication to those in need during the public health crisis earned her statewide recognition, including being named 2022's Outstanding Woman of the Year from Senator Anna Caballero Her collaborative approach has fostered strong partnerships within the community, ensuring a brighter and healthier future for the Soledad Community Health Care District.
